News
SEDSAT 2 was at the ISU Symposium "Space for a Safe and Secure world". The International Space University's 13th annual symposium was held 18-20 February 2009. The Sedsat 2 Marketing Team was there to promote SEDSAT's 2 mission and project. We have managed to speak to many of the leading space persons from both space agencies (ESA, JAXA, NASA) and organisations and have created a lot of contacts which are vital for recognition as well as potential sponsoring.

Tasks
Our main aim is to demonstrate to the world's audience, the benefits of global cooperation through an international educational project. The satellite is not the product, the project is the product. We want show the world that we are not just a team of students looking to sell a product and develop a satellite. We are looking at what we can do to help the audience. Therefore appart from a product and satellite, we can provide services and contacts to the space industry and others.
Space is the future, We are the future, You could be a part of it
A mission Logo, a mission slogan, a homepage, dossiers for sponsors, an image film etc. are small stones in a large mosaic, which we are currently developing. These marketing elements will form a picture that presents ourselves as what we are.
Enthusiastic, motivated and most important (especially for sponsors) PROFESSIONAL and authentic!
How We See Us
That is what SEDSAT II represents to the outside (sponsors, public).
A Team
We are a Team of ambitious students who are looking to transfer our skills learned to a real project. A project that gives everyone the opportunity to participate in an educational scientific project, disregarding their background. SEDSAT-2: a project that represents us all. This is exactly what drives us as a marketing team. The different nationalities in the team overlap with the SEDSAT-2's idea of international cooperation. Our team members are highly qualified students coming from various backgrounds; Business and Management, Astro Physics and International Politics. The variety of backgrounds and nationalities is the strength of our team, as it enables us to look from different perspectives.
A living example of globalisation
Over 40 students from more then eight countries working in eight teams on all continents, connected through the help of modern communication technology and their will to overcome borders, distances and to carry their common work into space, as a sign of their potential and will- the will of the young generation of our time.
A melting pot
We are a large melting pot of skills and know how that indicates the start of a new era where knowledge is brought together for the sake of an overriding goal- the advancing of airspace industry by developing an own network through the project.
A platform
Through our work we create a large network for an active participation, striving to provide educational opportunities for students, giving private entrepreneurs the possibility to engage themselves in the airspace industry. Furthermore giving private people the chance to actively participate in a worldwide space corporation.

CI/CD plays a significant role in the way an organization presents itself to both, internal and external parties. To act professional and authentic we developed some basic elements.

We have developed an offical SEDSAT II Logo but due to marketing issues it will be changed the next week.
SEDSAT II Mission Name
Apollo, Voyager, Pathfinder………..each mission has its own name. Since SEDSAT II is a serious space mission we would like to ask you about your suggestion for an appropriate mission name. (please send your idea + description why you think it is THE mission name to Hanneke)
